Job Summary:
This role will be a code contributing member of an agile, Product Security Team. Collaborating with team members to build, support, and maintain a next-generation automated security capability and assist development and engineering teams quickly and securely deliver on the organization's next-generation software products supporting our agents, brokers, and customers!
What You’ll Do:
Design, deliver and support flexible, scalable product security solutions.
Collaborate with the team to build new capabilities and pursue security and engineering excellence. Use an automation and integration first approach for security capabilities, delivering quality feedback directly in the development workstreams!
Experience participating in all aspects of capability design, engineering, and maintenance.
Perform troubleshooting on software, service configuration, and integration problems.
Be a phenomenal partner with product teams and the broader organization to help efficiently achieve team goals and spread the security message.
Help establish a security learning culture and evangelize the overall security mission.
Provide clear communications to all team members, customers, and enterprise partners.
Accept change and embrace new technologies in support of constantly evolving business goals.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Security certifications or equivalent preferred: GSCA, GCED, GWAPT, GAWN, GCPN
2+ years of experience as a code-contributing member of a development or operations team.
Proficiency with development and automated testing using Python.
2+ years applying application security and software engineering methods and standard processes.
Experience with proprietary and/or open-source static and multifaceted security testing tools.
1+ years applying cloud computing services including AWS, Azure, or GCP for delivering security and/or applications.
General proven understanding of Linux or UNIX administration and container construction and maintenance.
Proficiency with cloud/hosted Git and automation services such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Experience working within an Agile and DevOps driven technology culture.
Excellent analytical ability and logical troubleshooting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
