Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Digital Advertising manages all facets of digital advertising for Sotheby’s International Realty including, planning, buying, execution and reporting in conjunction with the media agency of record and internal teams. This role equips luxury real estate agents affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty a competitive advantage by providing targeted exposure to exclusive property listings that generate leads.
The Sr. Manager, Digital Advertising will partner closely with the brand’s media agency of record to ensure that all campaigns align with our strategy and monitor KPIs such as leads generated, ad impressions and engagement, and website traffic. Additionally, this role works with internal colleagues to educate our network of 1,000 offices in 81 countries and territories about our digital advertising strategies and how they can replicate best practices in their local markets, enhancing the impact of this role on a global scale.
Role Essentials:
In partnership with our agency of record, build a modern media campaign that generates incremental leads and exposure for the members of the Sotheby’s International Realty network across all paid media activities, but with a near sole focus on digital activities.
Develop media briefing and manage planning and implementation of all campaigns with our media agency of record and other advertising partners including SEM/PPC, Display, Paid Social, Listing Syndication and Digital TV.
Manage media agency relationships to ensure all parties are aligned with brand strategy and accountable for performance.
Utilizing analytics platform including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure and optimize campaigns to achieve success as measured by KPIs established by brand leadership.
Communicate campaigns, schedules and insights to internal team and our affiliates.
Manage the media campaign contracts, order forms, invoices, budget forecast and budget reconciliation.
Deliver monthly reporting for all advertising campaign activities monthly and make recommendations on optimizations and spend.
Promote competitive advantages and best practices learned from our global advertising program to our network of our affiliates and agents by creating a suite of communications, including webinars, presentations, email campaigns, intranet content, and social media posts.
Collaborate closely with the internal brand marketing team and marketing leads of our affiliates to maximize the ROI of brand advertising by ensuring all campaigns and programs are comprehended and utilized.
Serve as point of contact for all affiliate offices to evaluate important listings for inclusion in our global media campaign.
Manage ongoing communications between internal teams and the affiliates.
Utilize the brand’s custom property promotion application to find, manage and communicate properties placed in the brand’s advertising campaigns.
Provide management and oversight of the brand’s listings syndication partnerships including acting as an escalation point for syndication troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements:
5 Years’ experience developing, implementing, measuring, and refining paid advertising campaigns including experience managing advertising agencies.
Strong communication skills including in person and virtual presentation as well as written communication.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across internal and external teams including marketing, creative, product, operations, and external agencies.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools i.e., Google Analytics for measuring and reporting on campaign performance.
Familiarity with Google Tag manager or other tag management systems.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
